hi,

4 months ago i had spinal surgery & was in hospital for 10 days. The food in there was horrible, & as i was on a lot of medication, i didn't eat very much. I was already very skinny, & lost half a stone.

I have a very fast metabolism so putting on weight is really hard. i have always eaten a lot more calories than the recommended allowance but i am still skinny. After my operation, i am now so thin, my shoulders and hips stick out so much, people are even beginning to comment on them. My boobs were a normal size before, are now likes Kate Moss's! i want to go back to the weight i was before, i have been tryin for 4 months now & it hasn changed at al. I really hate the lack of curves i have, what foods are very high in calories but are still healthy?

thanx x

You may want to try increasing your metabolism in the morning. Immediately upon arising, drink a glass of water. Then have a big breakfast. This can include apples, pears, berries, kiwis, pineapples, grapefruit, plums, peaches, prunes, figs, rye bread, raw butter, raw milk, plain yogurt, wild smoked salmon, beef, chicken, lamb, tuna, sardines, eggs, tomatoes, peppers, salsa, celery, carrots, any vegetable, and potatoes. Eating a diet high in fiber also helps one maintain a healthy, normal weight.
