I had my gall bladder removed 2 and half years ago. I still have very bad bloating and sometimes severe pain anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour after eating. I still have severe diahrea everyday at the onset of eating. I was taking wechol for the diahrea but had to discontinue due to constipation. I did some research online and found a medication called Cholestyramine. it says the dose can be lowered if constipation occures. I guess my question is. I have been off the welchol for 3 months and have had severe diahrea and weight loss. 127lbs down to 118lbs, what if anything besides weight loss can everyday diahrea cause, can it hurt me. Someone told me it can affect my heart.
