I have woke up in the night besides daytime. I have bouts with nausea and vomiting on a scale of about 3 or 4. Sometimes it has gotten to an 8 or 9. I have a dull ache in the middle of my upper abdomen below my rib cage. I have had ultrasound of my abdomen and pelvis. I do have some cysts but nothing out of the ordinary. I had no stones. They just did a test with an IV and to see if my gallbladder functions properly and they thought so. Am awaiting results right now for that. I can go a day or two and have no nausea and then I can had it thruout the day or night. It is getting to be frustrating. Can your gallbladder be acting out if there are no stones and it seems to be contracting ok? I feel just like I did when I was pregnant with all 3 of my kids and I don't like the feeling. I don't know what to check for anymore.
