gallblader polyp

I had abdominal pain and ultrasound shoved I have gallbladder polyps. My doctor suggested I wait and we see what happens. Is that really the ultimate solution?

No, that is certainly not the ultimate solution. Usually gallbladder polyps cause no pain, so when they do cause it, this is a sign of removing it. Gallbladder polyps are removed with minimally-invasive, laparoscopic surgery. Surgeon grasps the gall bladder from one instrument and then with another he frees its duct and artery. These are then clipped or tied off. The gall bladder is removed from the liver bed. After ensuring that there is no bleeding or injury, the gall bladder (including the stones) is removed with one of the cannulas. You should be able to go home in 12-24 hours after surgery, of course if you decide for surgery.
