gallstone after operation

I had my stones removed last week, and although I am doing quite well i am sore to be expected but am concerned about the awful taste in my throat and what i am feeling in my throat !
I can only describe it as a bitter grungy taste foul smelling and have this every day now and it drips down my throat and seems to be there all the time. can anyone tell me what this is please ?
