I have had the came surgery about a month ago, and I am having pain on the right side it feels like my ribs. My surgeon seems to think that during surgery that I may have gotten a cracked rib. My symptoms are, it hurts to stand, sit , breathe, or even lay down. The more I move the worse it gets. Maybe you have the same thing, a cracked rib. I am still trying to find out what is wrong with me.

No it is not normal. Contact your doctor and inform him of the situation. At the very least you should be taking something for the pain.
Do something. Don't sit around in misery. CALL YOUR DOCTOR.
