Hello! My girlfriend has been diagnosed with gardenella and I was wondering if I can get it too! What exactly is this? Thx for the info!

Hi! gardenella Vaginalis is a bacterial infection of the vagina. It may be sexually transmitted, but there is some thought that it is vertically transmitted from mother to daughter at birth. It is an infection, so yes; you can get it, so maybe you should not have intercourse until your girlfriend is cured.
