Hi, I agree that natural products are better and safer, and garlic is well known and widely used for lowering cholesterol and improving lipid status. High cholesterol levels can have serious health implications on the cardiovascular system leading to atherosclerosis, and indicate increased risk of heart attack or stroke. Garlic is a proven anti-oxidant and prevents LDLs from being oxidized. Garlic reduces blood pressure and cholesterol, so patients with heart diseases, high blood pressure and arthrosclerosis are all recommended to take it. Heart attack and stroke risks are also decreased by regular intake of garlic or it’s supplements.

Garlic and onions are savory complements to vegetarian meals--and they help lower LDL cholesterol while raising HDL
We represent "Unauthorized Ad", an on-line company supplying customized vitamin supplements to the USA , we hope this information may be of interest to you.
Although it is by no means the only major risk factor, elevated serum (blood) cholesterol is clearly associated with a high risk of heart disease. Most doctors suggest cholesterol levels should stay under 200 mg/dl. As levels fall below 200, the risk of heart disease continues to decline. Many doctors consider cholesterol levels of no more than 180 to be optimal. A low cholesterol level, however, is not a guarantee of good heart health, as some people with low levels do suffer heart attacks.
The approach of optimum cardiovascular health is an added focus on the correction of good and bad cholesterol levels. Policosanol has been shown to reduce LDLs (bad cholesterol) and raise HDLs (good cholesterol). Red Yeast Rice, Guggul, Garlic, Pantothenic Acid, and Soy Isoflavones all help to lower total cholesterol and raise HDLs (good cholesterol). CoQ10, Ester C and Vitamin E are a group of powerful antioxidants that prevent dangerous oxidation of cholesterol and also lower LDLs (bad cholesterol).
Dr. Balch works with "Unauthorized Ad" to provide custom-made natural remedies for anyone who wants an all-in-one daily supplement that addresses all their health concerns, as well as providing the vitamins and minerals needed for optimum health and wellness.
