genital warts dissapearance

just a quick question. if genital warts disappear on their own after a bit of time would that possibly mean that your immune system defeated the hpv virus or would the virus be present still in your system even if they have been gone for a year and a half?

uts definetly still in your system. You may have break outs but it doesn't mean it will show all the time. And when you don't have any break outs you can still pass it on to someone else so please be carful.
