I think my mom is being depressed. She stopped talking to me and has stopped socializing. I’d like to hear some advice of where to get help in order to make her feel better. Thx

I’ve made myself feeling better by doing what I like. And where I got helped to make myself start doing those things I like at all? My kids helped me as well as my friends, but also my psychotherapist helped me a lot. The depression is a serious diagnose that could affect much your mom’s life. You should make her visit a doc that is a psychotherapist in order to get her diagnosed for as earlier she is diagnosed the chances for her to get adequate help is bigger. In other words if act on time she increases the chances of recovering and making the depression goes away for good. She needs to be prescribed a specific medical treatment that for sure will improve her health and mental condition. But also she needs to start going out, socializing doing what she enjoy. I worked out a lot because I was told it would help me, but I realize I don’t like to work-out, it’s boring for me. Now I swim and it works well for me.
