|
|
I am a 41 yr old man who has been on methadone since 1999. I lived in NY and moved to Houston, Texas where in 1999 and was on 120mgs back in 1999. I am now on 11 millograms and trying to get myself to completely be off methadone(cannot afford the cost of the program). What is the best way to detox myself from 11 mgs to nothing. I work full-time and do not drink or smoke. It's been 10 years since i did any heroin.
I want to be methadone free, how do i approach this ? |

Hi, Im a 42yr from nz. been on the 'done' since 1999 also. Started a count down 2004, goal to reduce and cease in two years. .....now its 08 and im still trying to shake the last 5mgs. Its been really hard to make that final transition. i wont go in to all my symptoms but needless to say im finding it fucken hard.
In nz, our programme is run by our govt, waitlists are our bug bearer. although there has been recent changes within an introduction of a interim regime. and frm memory the intial script cost $3. the rest 'repeats'.
If anyone has an idea on how to shake the final drops frm the system, id love to hear it. |
