I need advice. I am 15 years old and want to grow tall. My parents are quite short, and I do not want to be short like them. What can I do to grow taller instead? Is there any nutrition that can help or I cannot do anything. I didn’t mean grow tall like basketball player, just taller than I would normal be, if I did nothing.
Thank you!!!

Well, something is definitely up to genetics, but for sure you can do something. To promote growth, you should eat proper balanced food (follow food pyramid, eat fresh and not canned meat, eat fresh vegetables and fruit) and perhaps even adjust your nutrition with some supplements that stimulate growth. Besides that stress is slowing growth, also emotional disturbance. Exercise promotes growth in muscular groups, but not likely in bone structural extension, however inactivity may slow down growth...so, in every case, it is better to be active then not.
