getting yeast infections

for the past few maybe 3 months i have been kind of getting yeast infections (so i think) .. and its chunky white cottage cheese looking, but with a very horrible stench to it like a rotten sour smell, i dont even want to remind myself Confused .. but the bad part is the way i keep finding out i have it! which is .. everytime i have sex with my husband he has white chunky stuff on his penis which is horrible.. and we have unprotected sex because we are trying to get pregnant.. and my yeast infections happened maybe like once a month and it is very annoying .. and the most recent time which is now when i have it is the worst one i had because it smells this time and when we had sex that time i explained, he said his penis was stinging for a little.. which is scary .. i dont know what is going on and why i keep getting it.. is it maybe the unprotected sex ? or anything you can give me for advice please.. im really wondering .. thank youuu Wink

Are you getting the correct treatment? If you are not treating it fully, it will only recede and then come back again. You probably need to go to a doctor (if you haven't already) to confirm thrush and possibly get another treatment for it. There is a pill available if topical treatment fails.
You can try to prevent thrush by making sure only clean fingers etc go near the area, make you you wipe from front to back when using the bathroom, some women find eating yoghurt regularly helps.
