I am a 36 year old mother of 4, all children by ceserean section. I have a hanging layer of skin in my lower abdomen due to scar tissue as a result of these surgeries. I do not feel sexy, and I am very self concience of my body as a result. Several doctors have told me that the only way to get rid of this excess skin is by plastic surgery, which is costly, and because I have been cut several times, I am trying to avoid surgery if possible. I try to go to the gym 3 or more times a week and although I see some results, I am still grossed out when I look at my stomach. Is it possible to be able to get my stomach to look almost as good as it did before the children without going under the knife, or are my dreams of getting back into a two piece bathing suit just a fantasy?  |
