My GF took an ept test and it showed positive and then she went to the doctors while she was on her period and they gave her another pregnancy test and it sain negative. Is she pregnant or not? somebody please reply.

My LMP was 15/08/2008 and ive done 4 pregnancy tests and they came back negative. I visited the doctor on Saturday and she examined me and said my cervix was soft and told me to do an ultrasound. im sorta of worried. Could i still be pregnant?
