I am in my third semester and I have groin pain. I don't have a clue what is hurting me so much. I am very scared. What would be the reason for groin pain in pregnancy? Has anyone experienced it? It is very hard and I am exhausted because every single time I went to move in bed, the pain would wake me. I am in horrible shape!

I think your groin pain may just be from ligaments, these cause very significant pain in some pregnancies. They are too stretchy which is why they hurt. Walking may help some, but it may be one of those things there isn't much you can do anything about at this point. It is too late now to start stretching. If everything else is ok then you just need to be supported and encouraged to walk despite the pain and to use breathing techniques to cope.

hi
the groin pain deep in the vagina is due to the cervix softening and slightly dilating. Its absolutely awful, i have it too and until the baby is born i will have to live with it. In bed turning from one side to the next is the worst and standing up for the first few seconds i am so taken a back by the pain that i let out a scream. Once i am up and about its fine but i am walking a bit crooked because of it. Yeah walking to much doesn't help either. I am fit, did a lot of sport. We are apparently the lucy ones cos it means our births will be quicker, we done some of the work already! I hope that is not just theory!
