My doctor thinks that my problem with peptic ulcer is caused by bacteria Helicobacter pylori. I caught it up with food, as it seems. I feel abdominal discomfort all the time. I want to know how H.pylori can cause peptic ulcer and what the symptoms of ulcer are.

H.pylori weakens the protective mucous coating of the stomach and duodenum. That allows acid to get through to the sensitive lining beneath, so both the acid and the bacteria irritate the lining and cause a sore, or ulcer. Abdominal discomfort is usually dull, comes and goes for several days, occurs after meals, but there are other symptoms like weight loss, burping, vomiting, poor appetite. Some people experience mild symptoms or none at all. It can cause different serious condition, so make sure that you receive a proper therapy.
