I have had an extraction recently resulting in me ending up in the hospital yesterday.
I had the injection to numb the area, I am really scared to the point I start vomiting and having asthma attacks. Is there another procedure which I can have? Can I just get gassed or something else so I won't be awake during the procedure of filling or extraction?

It seems that you have had bad reaction on anesthesia. It seems that your dentist is irresponsible. I had the same problem till I found one I trusted. Call your dentist and ask them to talk to. It sounds like something that can be very dangerous, even life-threatening.

Aggy: Don't write things you have no idea about.

The symptoms indicates that this is allergy to anaesthetic mean which resolved in anafilactic shock. Lidokaine wich is the most frequent anaesthetic used in dental surgeries is the reason in most cases. Of course that was lifte threatening but please don't tell the dentist is irresponsible. Same things can happen when people eat peanuts for example and nobody calls peanuts manufacturers irresponsible [
