I had the last day of my period on March 15, and had unprotected sex during that day. I had spotting then after a week and it stopped. I have experienced spotting 3 days prior to my next period. What does this mean; I am afraid I might be pregnant.

Spotting or bleeding between periods, can be caused by a number of factors and if you are concerned about spotting, or concerned that you might be pregnant, it is recommended that you see a gynecologist. I am sure that you know that having unprotected sex can put you at an increased risk for becoming pregnant or contracting a sexually transmitted infection. I will always recommend you condom, each and every time. I had spotting few times 2-3 days prior my period and it was just begging of the period. I have spotting 2-3 days after too.

I too am curious about spotting. My last period was normal and for a while they only lasted about 2-3 days. Now, I started spotting about almost a week ago, and started my period today. I'm only 20 and was wondering if it had anything to do w/ the weird timing of my previous periods or if this happens to everyone?
