Hi there! Hemorrhoids won’t make you lose your hair (until you are really stressing about it for long periods of time) but thyroid disease certainly will.
Both hyperthyroid and hypothyroid disease can make one lose hair. Have you been diagnosed with thyroid problems and given prescription drugs?

If you are on specific thyroid treatment, you need to make sure that you are not experiencing the drug’s side effects. Patients who are taking levothyroxine may suffer from hair loss although many doctors are not aware of this side effect.
In case you are being under treated, meaning you are not getting the right dosage, you may not see any benefits of the drug. Your hair may continue to fall out when it should be recovering if your thyroid glands’ function is also recovering. You may need drug switch or get additional drug to try fixing the hair loss problem.

Besides loosing hair, many people with thyroid problems experience also hair thinning, changes in the hair's texture, hair becoming dry and coarse.

So, if you have been diagnosed with thyroid, a proper treatment should reverse the problem.
