You will closely supervised by your hand surgeon (at least I was), which is by my opinion important as surgery itself.
The hand will be immobilized for several days after the surgery, but you will soon start with the exercise program. Usually this program starts in the first week after surgery and continues up to 6 or even more weeks after surgery. Do the exercises regular and you will improve your condition without doubt!
