A few months ago I had a very hard stool to pass, painful, after wards there was bright red blood on paper and in bowl. No problem since, I \drink alot of water now and more fiber. what could have happened? thanks
It possible means you could have torn some tissue in your rectum and that is the issues if the bleeding stopped and you have never had that problem again it means its was fissure ( small tare in rectum) and has healed if you ever come upon this again use a cream like neosporin or triple antiboitc ointment to prevent any infection from the stool
