Hi. I'm 16 years old and I have some serious problems. I could say that I was pretty happy and healthy person until this happened to me. About three months ago my mother died, after she was diagnosed with breast cancer four months earlier.
I was devastated when I found out. I am female and I you understand how much I was connected with my mother.
Since that occurred I am not going to school nor visiting my friends. I just lay in my bad all day long.
Please someone help me!
Hello. I just want to tell you how sorry I am about your mother. I understand your deep relationship with her.
Daughters often develop special kind of relationship with their mothers. And I know how this can be terrible period for you but laying in bed all day long will not solve anything.
Just remember the things you do have going for you, even if you can’t focus on those things right now. Go out side and see your friends. Get back to school.
Talk with your father about this and consider even seeing some school consultant.
If your school can not provide you one than, visiting some psychiatrist should do.
