| I have been diagnosed with cholecystitis and right now the pain has lessen to the point of almost gone; as well utlra sound showed stones in the gallbladder. The doctor says if i don't have it out now, that i could have a severe attack where the gallbladder is grossly swollen and then will have to have emergency surgery, which has a 50% change of complications. He has me scheduled for next Wednesday, but I don't want to have unnecessary surgery and now that the symptoms have calmed down, this seems unnecessary to me. What do you think? |
