The remedy depends upon the cause and causes are many. This is why it would be best if you saw a GP and have this problem evaluated. Going through your medical history, performing physical exam and other tests, a doctor will be able to tell what the matter could be. I will give you just a hint on what it could be.
There are many areas in the body that could be causing problems with swallowing. Some of the nerve and muscle problems that could be causing your problems are MS, muscular dystrophy, myasthenia gravis (autoimmune disease which results in weakness and fatigue in muscles because of problems in communication between nerves and muscles). Problems with upper mouth and throat that could be causing difficulty swallowing are anxiety disorder, cervical spine problems, esophagus problems and tumors, esophagus spasms, nutcracker esophagus, problems with esophagus muscle, etc
Vomiting could occur from stimulation in the cerebral cortex like anxiety, different smells and tastes, as well as increased pressure inside the scull. It could also occur from problems with the inner ear, or problems with upper gastrointestinal tract including nerves, muscles and cancer. Some medicines are likely to cause vomiting as well but like I said you need a doctor to be evaluated. |
