headache, dizzy, belching, night sweats, shortness of breath

This just started a few days ago. My grandson is in the hospital and we've been there constantly...I thought I was just run down.

It started with a contant headache (for days), feeling like I was in a daze, stomach discomfort, a general achiness. I found some antibiotics and took them and started to feel a little better...then today woke up with a rash on my upper thighs...they seem to be little blister like things.

The bad news...I started a job and was promised medical benefits...and I still don't have any insurance.

Were the antibiotics prescribed to you by a Dr? Don’t get me wrong, I'm all for self diagnosis and my GP gets a laugh out of calling me Dr Merik *grins* but antibiotics fall into that category of medications that you shouldn't take unless they've been prescribed. The reason being if you don't take the entire course, or are taking the wrong antibiotic, your body develops strengthened immunity to the drug as opposed to what it’s fending off. Hence when need that particular drug for say, a bout of bronchitis, it won't be as effective, if at all.

As for the symptoms, it could be stress related, although the blisters sound a little extreme even for stress. If they are watery blisters it might be chicken pox. And I’ve heard that particular autoimmune disorders such as Lupus are generally accompanied by a rash. Or it could simply be a flu or allergy to something. Have you changed your washing powder or soap, or brought a new pair of shorts and didn’t wash them first? [The chemical dyes in most clothing would be enough to give anyone a rash! laughs] Rubella is another condition that causes rash.
