Yes, of course, the possibility of dying is always present when one has a heart attack. However, many people have several heart attacks and live through them.
You did not say what causes the heart attack. A bad heart? A valve problem? Coronary artery disease? Anerism?
All of these facot in to the survival rates and how quickly you can get help at the unsett of an attack.
Medicine has came a long way and there are many things doctor's can do to save a person's life having a heart attack.
