I am a 39-year-old female. I am not overweight, but I have been having some chest pain under lower left rib, together with the feeling as my heart is beating in my throat. Two months ago, I started to have variable cycles and my doctors is suspecting on menopause. Is it possible that this palpitation is coming with menopause?

Yes darling, it is very possible. It is happened to me too. Palpitations of heart during menopause are result of fluctuating hormones. I have solved problems only with HRT. Check with your doctor, it could help you too. However, if you experience chest pain or shortness of breath associated with the palpitations, it is better to be checked out.
