Is it possible that my chest pain, where the heart is, is related to acid reflux somehow? I noticed that it occur almost immediately after acid reflux.
I don’t know about your case, but I know that Heartburn occurs when stomach acid backs up into the esophagus, causing chest pain. As I know GERD, has nothing to do with the heart. However, people with existing coronary artery disease may also have GERD, and this can trigger constriction of the heart's blood vessels and cause restricted bloody supply that can damage the heart further.
