help discharge no period

hey Im 15 and its normal for the women in my family to not have a very regular period so that doesnt worry me but what does is about a week ago I got a
brown discharge which is normal before and after my period but the thing is, I havent gotten my actual period yet....should I be worried?
I have not been that stressed lately so that couldnt be it and I havent had intercourse yet, also while I had the discharge (which lasted an irregularly long time) I was getting hot flushes and was very thirsty.
