I am pretty sure that i have an internal hemrhoid. i make bowel movements at least once to twice daily. everytime i go to the bathroom there is a slight discomfort where i am pretty sure that the hemrhoid is sitting. there is also a small amout of blood on my tissue. no matter how soft my bowl movement is the hemrhoid is aggrevated. is there anything i can do? how long does this usually go on for? the discomfort is a scale of 4-5 depending on how large of a bowel movement that i have.
You may have what is called a fissure. This is a tear in the anus. You can help it heal by eating a diet high in fiber, warm tub baths and stool softners such as dulcolax.
