I was found to have herniated lumbar disc 6 months ago. I haven’t been scanned before I experienced severe back and leg pain. Since3 I was diagnosed I have been on drugs, did special exercises but nothing reveals my pain. I have already skipped a lot of work. I am interested in what kind of results I can expect from a surgery! Thank you

My herniated disc caused me back pain and when I asked about the surgery, they told me that it is less affective for backache but more than 90% effective for relieving leg pain. They won’t be as strong as before but surgery may stop your legs from becoming weaker and get rid of pain. You will of course get occasional aches but they will be easy to handle. Talk to your doctor about it.
