It is known that cortisone shots could make you hiccupping all the way long, I know how bothersome this could be. I had a chance to get the cortisone shot and was hiccupping the following two days, I was in panic as I would never tell this could be the consequence of the shot so I immediately phoned a friend who is a doctor actually and she gave me a few tips how to get rid of the hiccups. She said to try them all as some of them might not work. So you could also use the old good techniques of holding your breath for a while, drinking a glass of cold water, or you can also try it with eating a teaspoon of sugar, some people say this works, but not for me though. Hope you will get rid of them soon.
