high blood pressure and pregnancy

During past two months of my pregnancy my blood pressure is “up” and “down”. I’ve never had a problem with high blood pressure before. I am very worried about this. I’ve been told that during normal pregnancy blood pressure drops. What is mine then, abnormal? Is there any pregnant woman with same problem? I need some advice and comfort here!!!

I have a problem with high blood pressure too. I am in six month now. My doctor explained me that high blood pressure during pregnancy is called hypertension. By that I mean that the top number is (or greater) 140 mm Hg and the bottom number is greater that 90 mm Hg. It is not disease itself but it can be sign for some disorder. The cause of high blood pressure during pregnancy is not known. Please be careful and seek for medical advice.
