hole in cervix

hi, i have a question about bleeding during pregancy. i am about 9weeks along now i have had a few spotting which was nothing really. but then i went to my docs for my frist intral exam, and ever since then i have had heavier bleeding. i went to the ER cause i was scared that i was losing the baby but they said that i had a hole in my cervix. now im wondering if that is normal or if any1 else has had that. Is the baby ok and will the bleeding stop anytime soo? i go for my first altra sound in 2weeks but as of right now im still scared and worried that something might be wrong with the baby.
pls help me out

ALL women have a 'hole' in their cervix, it is the entrance to the inner part of the cervix and the vagina.

It is called the OS.

You need a gynecologist, not an ER DOC, they are not ALWAYS trained in OBGYN.
