honor student can't do any college writing assignments

My daughter has been an honor studetn throughout high school and elementary school.She went to a ivy league college andwas not able to do anything. She just slept through classes but went to club activities. She is now in another college and she is doing the same thing.She doesn't sleep
at night nor eat 3 meals in the cafeteria. She freezes when she has to write
a paper and then she does nothing. She is failing now. Somebody said maybe she has dysthmia!

i have this problem as well. just can't do it.
but, i'm pretty sure i'm bipolar and have primarily inattentive ADD.
fortunately if i'm in a manic phase i can do anything and everything, but if i'm in a "down" phase (like for the past 2 years) i can't write a goddamned thing.
