I am 15 years old guy and I have thousands of questions I don’t know who to ask. For example, my parents used to telling me my hormones are working these days, or something like that. They told me I am in puberty and my reproductive system produces hormones. When I ask them what kind of hormones are those, they don’t know what to say. Can you tell me something about hormones of reproductive system?

During the seventh week of intrauterine development, major changes occur in reproductive system. It happens in the same time for girls and boys, but development normally goes to different ways. The testicles are primary reproductive organs of male. They start to produce Steroid Hormones, or sex hormones. Those are called androgens. It leads that tissue of the embryo responds to these hormones by developing into the male reproductive organs. The ovaries are primary reproductive organs of a female embryo. They produces steroid (sex) hormones, know as estrogens. In puberty, when pituitary gland begins to release FSH and LH, these hormones stimulate testes to make the principal male sex hormone testosterone. FSH and LH with female stimulate cells of ovaries to produce estrogen.
