horrible cramping with one big brown blood spot, what is this?

ok i had my last period at the beganing of the month or end of the last month. on the 13th i had the most intense cramping i have ever had, i couldnt breath it hurt so bad, mostly in the middle of my abdomen, with a little bit on the side. i tried to go poop cuz i thought maybe that was the problem and it hurt immensely. so i went and layed down curled in a ball for 8 hours before work ( i work midnights) later when i came to work and went to the bathroom i noticed a big brown blood spot about the size of a quarter and then no more spotting after that. no more pain after that. other then tender nipples and a little bit of nausea which i get before my period starts.

has anyone ever experienced anything like that before??

Are there chances that you could have gotten pregnant and that this was a miscarriage?

Or maybe it was a cervical polyps but I am not so sure if they would hurt so much. A cervical polyp could detach on its own but it usually happens during periods.

I would see a doctor!
