I am 62 years old. I have been getting the sweats a lot lately. I can be just sitting down doing nothing or I can be working around the house and get so hot I have to go outside to cool off. With that feeling is something like you have when you are in an enclosed place. At night I will get hot and get a feeling under my ribcage and wake up. It goes away and I go back to sleep. It is bugging me to no end. I have no insurance so can' go to dr. It has been going on a long time. I feel so tired all time. I am not taking any meds right now. Was on zoloft and fosamax. Was doing this before the meds. So what the heck is the problem. Just the wonderful signs of old age? Confused We have mold in the house from a bad leak. Think that could be cause/
