hot feelings in front of thigh area

My son is having these hot feelings in small area of upper front of his thigh and he looks drawn in the face because it is bothering him.
the feelings he is having is not pain associated!
Anyone know a cause for this?
He is wheel chair bound but this is the only sympton he is presently having!
