hot flashes relief

My mother has severe problems with hot flashes. It has start couple months ago and sometimes she has it couple times a day. She was told to avoid spicy food and not to drink cold beverages when she has hot flashes. But it is not enough. Can you tell me how to help her relieve her hot flashes?

There are few different ways to hot flashes relief. First she could use more soy. Black cohosh is also helpful. Things like natural progesterone cream using or taking 400 to 800 IU of vitamin E also help to lower the risk of hot flashes appearance. She should avoid alcohol, caffeine and cayenne. Exercise is very helpful too. She should exercise at least half an hour every day. Estrogen therapy is also very good for those things.
