My dougther is 11 1/2 years old and almost developed. but she hasn't grow tall and her doc says she might grow only a few more inches more. We want her to grow taller and be at least averege. What can we do about it?
We will do any thing that is possible that is not risky.[/quote]

Exactly how tall is your daughter? Why are you worrying about her height so much?

when she was 8 years old, on the grow chart, she used to be on the 75% and now she is on the 5%. according to the chart, her height had been reduced and the weight, (70%) stayed the same. Her dr. said that "she should have grown 3 to 5 inche" but she grow less than 1". I have heard about grow homones but it has side effect and I don't know if it's worth it. Is there any other way for her, to grow taller without any risk?
she is 11 1/2 and I am sure she will get her period soon. There should be a way and if there is, we want to do it before it is too late.

to be honest that doctor is wrong! a girl will keep developing from 8-18!
every girl is different some start early and some start late, i on the other hand started growing at 13 and started my period late 15.. but i had a eating disorder.
i wouldn't worry about your little girl and i hope you are not making this seem like a problem to her... good things come in small packages and all my male friends prefer shorter girls Smile
hope i helped a little and sweetie DON'T WORRY!
have a good day~
