how do i get rid of vaginal oder without taking pills

im 17 years old n i have a bad smell coming from my vigina but i dont want to take pills is there another way to get rid of the smell?

Hi,

firstly, have you had sex or are you a virgin?
If you've had sex...it could be an STD for which you will have to take tablets if it's treatable such as Chlamydia.
It could also be thrush, but this would most likely have a lot of itchiness involved too.
Other possibilities could be simply bad hygiene, but bad smells are usually some kind of bacterial infection for which you have to take something.
Go see your GP for a diagnosis, I don't see why taking tablets is that bad if it will help!

i am 18 years old and i have a vaginal smell and i have had it for years. i had chlamydia but got treated for it. for about 4 months i have had inflammation as well but the doctor says its nothing. I dont agree with that. I also had a yeast infection with the chlamydia. but the doctor wont give me anything to get rid of the odor or discharge i have. could i just take vagisal without her saying so???

I am 45 years old and have had 3 kids and a hysterectomy and have been married for 20 years...I too have approached my gyne and he totally ignored it!! So...I bought a Vaginal PHbalance called RePhresh at your local CVS or Walgreens and it works like magic!! I only seem to get a strong oder about 24 hours after intercourse which is very weird but anyway...it works. Unfotunately the box that contains 3 tubes of PH gel costs around $20 but it does seem to last me about a month. It is worth it to me because now I don't have to smell that nasty oder or be embarrased in public if it absorbs my underwear. Hope this helps.
