It all depends on the severity of your sunburn –but basically the worst are the first 48 hours so within this period you could expect that warm sensation to disappear and along with it some other sunburn symptoms. But according to the symptoms you have described I would say you are about to have somewhat prolonged sunburn recovery for I think you would probably have also this pilling skin period –all in all in your case it could take about 7 up to 10 days.

I got a sunburn about two months ago. There isn't any pain but my legs are still red, like I have scarring from a burn. For awhile my legs tuned purple and blue like they were bruised. This can not be normal. Anyone know what's happening to me?

I had a really bad sunburn a few months ago. The worst part was the intense itching. If you don't have the itching, be thankful. Smile

You could try taking a Tylenol PM sleeping aid pill to get some rest. Hopefully when you wake up, the skin will be healed a bit more.
