Hi, I am 32 years old female and I am suffering from anxiety for several months already. I know all that problems come from my head but I am not able to control panic attacks when it appears. I may feel absolutely fine and in the moment I feel that I cant breath and my heart starts to beat so strong. I would like to know how long it takes to recover from anxiety.

Hi, I also had similar problem several months ago and it was caused with my labor. After I born my baby I started to feel similar symptoms and it lasted for six months. During that time I was looking for the way to relax my self and to find something which will occupy my mind. It depends on you and your will how long it would take to recover from anxiety.

If you learn to change the way you think about your anxiety and panic using TEA forms and other CBT exercises you can turn your life around and get a handle on anxiety in a reasonably short period of time. If you really dedicate yourself to countering your thoughts in a TEA form daily they say you can gain the upper hand on it in 12-16 weeks. It has changed my life but it took me a little longer than that but still well worth the effort imo.
