| It's been 4 weeks since I had 2 thrombosed hemmorroids removed. Most of the pain is gone, however, I may need to had the surgery again to remove another 6 small hemmorroids (according to the doctor) I am praying that I don't need surgery and the Cortisone ointment will shrink them. They have gone down in size, but are still there and are painful as they can be. My concerns are I take colace during the day for regularity, however I am having 4 - 6 bowel movemnts per day still. I am so frieghtened to become constipated and enlarge the remain hemmorroids, so I continue with the colace (stool softeners) when should I be taking the colace, at bedtime or during the day or evening??
