Few days ago, I had sex for the first time in my life. I know that bleeding is common, but I was not bleed at all. I am wondering if this is normal, or should I do something about that. I do not understand what I have done wrong when I had sexual intercourse with my boyfriend. Can you tell me how to break the hymen?

Bleeding is very common for the first time sex but it is also unusual not to bleed. Many women bleed after their first few sex intercourses while some does never experience this. The bleeding thing is very personal and it differs from one woman to another, which means you probably already break hymen. It is very possible that you will bleed during one of the next intercourses. I predict that even then, you will not bleed much, but not anything should surprise you. I have to tell you just one important advice, make sure you use condoms every time you have intercourse even if you had the pill. Too many diseases are sexually transmitted, so it is better to prevent then treat it. You have to know that many women bleed after their first experience, two, or three. I have heard of women that do not know even if they break hymen. It could also be if you have used tampons that you have stretched the hymen. Maybe that was enough so you did not bleed from the intercourse, so I do not think you should be wondering any more how to break the hymen.
