Hi, I have a situation on my hands that I have never had experienced before. My ten years old son has sunburns. His face and arms are red and he says that his skin hurts. I have always tried to protect him from sun exposure, but yesterday he went to his friend house where they spend several hours playing in the garden. Now I don't know what to do. Do you know how I should treat my son's sunburns?

After the pain was gone, my mother would gently apply some kind of moisturizing gel on my skin. It had a cooling effect. After a few days of this treatment I would start to feel better.
