I was prescribed linsinopril& for my blood pressure. This is my first high blood pressure drug. I would like to know how it works and how low I will need to take it? Thank you
This combo represents a good way to lower high blood pressure. At least it worked good on me. Lisinopril decrease chemicals that tighten the blood vessels, so that the blood could flow more smoothly and hydrochlorothiazide makes your body get rid of unneeded water and salt into the urine. I don’t know how long it will take you to get to the normal blood pressure levels but I certainly know you can’t cure high blood pressure, only manage it, so you may need to take this drug for the rest of your life.
