I am 18 and My boyfriend and i have been trying to have sex for 6 or so monhs now and were having trouble with penetration. It just wont "go in." i went to the doctors this morning, and she basically said that i'll either need surgery to remove my hymen or i have vaginismus. i was too scared to let her check, i will go back because i want this problem fixed but im just wondering if anyone has been in this situation and how you dealt with it???

Hi, I am online researching the same problem that you have. I had a hymenectomy two years ago, though, and still have not been able to have intercourse. At least we know we are not alone.
